Just finished up about 20 hours worth of tedious Cat5 terminations. That was to finish out the panel work on the Centralite lighting control system.
Here is a pic.... The low voltage portion at the bottom consists of two big boards, one is the STAR panel, which is on a constant lookout for somebody to touch a switch, which it then tells the Master Control Panel (not pictured) which tells the other board shown (the Relay Driver Board) how to manipulate the voltage on the dimmers... Anyway, this is more Cat 5 terminations than I have ever done.
Note too that what you see is wires, but each one of those wires consists of 8 wires, of which 6 are switch locations, and 2 are common. So I have to keep track of every single wire and sub wire as it matters when I hook up the switch at the other end. I have it all written down on a spreadsheet, but there were some changes on the fly.
Stucco and Stone guys were still at it again. This is the color of the first coat of stucco. Next, they are going to yellow it up a little more and darken it, and then 2 more passes with color and burnishing. I am worried they won't work tomorrow because it's been raining all night long, and it's in the low 50's, which feels cold to us.
Inside, some of the woodwork is completed. Looks a little shiny to me, but pretty colors coming out. This is a knotty alder door.
Double door at the end of the big hall.
OK, I"m pooped and it's 5 am...
Hauling trash and making phone calls tomorrow.
